SPRING WEED AND FEED

When fertilizing in the spring you can choose to use a “weed and feed.” These products contain both a fertilizer and a pre-emergent herbicide.  I offer this as the rounds 1 and 2 treatments with fertilizer containing Dimension crabgrass preemergent.  Crabgrass (pictured below is one of our most common nuisances in Eastern Massachusetts and is much easier to prevent than to control once its established.
